I’m a successful, driven entrepreneur in my mid 50s. I have a calendar that makes others tired when they hear it so you’d think I’d be able to push myself to work out on my own.
I need, want and like having a personal trainer, and Adelade fits the bill perfectly.
Adelade was recommended to me in a Facebook group and I loved that she was real, authentic and funny. I wanted someone I could get the fitness results I needed, AND laugh, joke and have fun with through the experience (aka pain).
Although I had no reason to lose weight, I was most definitely weak and unfit. I had zero muscle mass and any decent walk would often end up in tight hips and pain. I was afraid to work in my garden in case I injured myself.
I desperately wanted my body to FEEL STRONG and I needed to build muscle. I chose to work out 3 x a week with Adelade because it was a priority for me. I have no regrets and also no intention of stopping any time soon.
My muscle mass has developed gradually over each week (it’s been 8 months), and my strength and endurance now allow me to garden and walk easily. The workouts have greatly contributed to me feeling and looking younger than my age. I’m even crazy enough to keep my workouts going with her when I‘m on vacation.
Adelade is so much more than a personal trainer. Every session is different, challenging and fun and she has the ability to know just how much to push me and when to ease up. It’s perfect. The journey so far has been extremely doable, and I’m excited about continuing.

Adelade is pretty much my ideal personal trainer. She creates workouts specific to my needs and level of strength, and made each session something new and exciting to discover (which basically made a 45 mins workout fly by!)
She was encouraging, empathetic and pushed me to new heights, heights that I never thought I'd reach to be honest (insert 5 minute plank here).
I have a full time job, am mom of two young kids, and in the evenings all I ever want to do is watch 5 hours of Netflix before passing out. But then I started her workouts and felt this new energy, both physically and mentally. It had been far too long since I did something for myself, something to feel proud of.
Yes, my kids tend to pop in and out of our video sessions, or join in on the workouts. They may at times be a little distracting, but I feel comfortable exposing adelade to that, to my REALITY! And she is always so accepting while still keeping track of the goal we set out for that session.
I'll be honest, I can't work out by myself. I need someone to push me, to remind me.
Adelade holds me accountable for my workouts and eating healthy, but understands that a girl's gotta stuff her face with cake and wine once in a while.

Having never worked with a personal trainer before I was nervous and intimidated before my first training session with Adelade. Within minutes of the workout any nerves I had completely vanished. Adelade is friendly, professional, and encouraging. There have been days when working out was the absolute last thing I wanted to do but the minute the work out starts she helps me feel motivated, empowered, and strong. Her naturally encouraging personality and ability to lead make her an excellent trainer. The changes I have seen since beginning training with Adelade have not only been physical, my confidence has grown, and building intense workouts into my routine has helped me deal with the anxiety and depression that come with living in the world as it currently is. I cannot recommend Adelade enough. She is patient, kind, and will push you to reach your limits in a way that makes you feel comfortable and empowered. Training with Adelade has been wonderful for me in many ways, I am so glad I began this journey with her.
These last 6 weeks have been amazing! I haven’t exercised in years and I’ve never worked with a trainer before so I was a little nervous to begin. Adelade was patient and created a program that was perfectly fit for me. She took extra time to explain everything during our workouts and made sure I was comfortable and happy with what we were doing. She held me accountable and followed my progress closely throughout the 6 weeks. I can honestly say I have more energy and feel stronger than ever. I never thought I’d be able to do some of the workouts at the beginning of this process. It’s amazing how far I’ve come and it’s all because of Adelade.
